We are Good Sports
In 1982 Good Sports Outdoor Outfitters opened its doors with the goal of becoming South Texas’ premier destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Locally and family owned, Good Sports has catered to the San Antonio community for more than 40 years, and has since expanded its operations to include an outlet store and an online shop, shipping worldwide.
Good Sports has withstood the test of time by continuing to provide excellent customer service, a unique selection of merchandise, and exceptionally trained and knowledgeable staff.
OUR STORY
Store owners Tommy and Marscha Lauterstein love sports, outdoor activities, and anything involving adventure. As there weren’t many retailers catering to these sports in the 1980s, they decided to start their own sporting goods store. Since the early 80's Good Sports has worked hard to curate a selection of unique and hand-picked brands and items that would not be found in any other store.

Good Sports team members provide personalized attention and valuable knowledge to every single customer.
