It all starts with an understanding of how our natural color vision works. Our brain and eyes interpret colors in a complex way. Through extensive field and lab research, Oakley was able to filter light based on our eye sensitivity.

Next, they analyzed the environments, each environment has its demands and they can leverage specific colors that give important visual cues for performance. Spotting hazards on the road, better reading the mountain, or finding your line on a trail.
